About the tea:
Both warming and cooling, this baozhong is universal for any season or time of the day. Strong warm vegetal notes return with a cooling, sweet aftertaste. Works incredibly well as a cold brew as well. This tea is grown to suit the local taste and is a good insight in the demands of the local market.
What is baozhong, and how does it fit among other tea types?
Baozhong is similar to oolong in production and is usually oxidized around 10%, which makes it similar to green tea in that regard. However, baozhong follows the same production steps as oolong and is typically not roasted. This tea has fresh floral notes and lacks the shaper characteristic green tea notes. This makes this tea a great alternative to green tea,
Is baozhong suitable for cold brew?
Absolutely! Simply add 5g of tea to 300ml and store in the fridge for 8–14 hours and enjoy a refreshing cold drink. Cold brew tea contains less caffeine and is less bitter.
